Account Closure & Data Deletion

Last updated: 13 July 2026

You can request account closure or exercise a data-protection right by emailing info@insyncpetz.com with the subject “InSyncPetz account closure or data request”.

Verification

We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify identity, authority and the relevant account, especially for family, business or partner accounts.

What closure affects

Closing an account may remove login access and disable or restrict pet profiles, finder pages, tag management, alerts and paid features. Before closure, review any active tags, subscriptions, open orders and information you need to retain.

Data that may be erased

Subject to legal exemptions, erasure may cover profile information, contact data, uploads, inactive tag records and support data that is no longer required.

Data that may be retained

We may retain limited order, payment, tax, fraud-prevention, security, complaint and legal-claim records for the periods explained in the Privacy Notice. Erasure rights do not always apply where retention is legally required or otherwise permitted.

Response time

We normally respond to valid data-rights requests within one month, subject to any lawful extension. Account closure requests that are not data-rights requests will be handled within a reasonable operational period.
